"Laughfest 2003"

TULSA, OK - Start your May off right this year and bust a gut on Brookside May 3rd, 2003, with The Comedy Clinic - Tulsa's Comedy Troupe in "Laughfest 2003". Showtime is 7 p.m. at Tulsa's finest Martini Lounge and Champagne Bar, the Suede, 3340 S. Peoria Ave.

The ONLY way to fill your prescription for laughs is to book an appointment with Brookside's Physicians of Fun, who will showcase decades of theater and comedy experience in their live show, which has been described as Saturday Night Live meets Whose Line is it Anyway with a PG-13 slant. Their four previous appearances at The Suede have been greeted with packed houses and side-splitting laughter.

These comedy doctors give audiences a local flavor in their sketch and bit comedy, the likes of which won't be seen on television or anywhere else in Tulsa! Audience participation is a must as the Clinic hilariously entertains patrons with their favorite improvisational games and ORIGINAL sketch material.

Clinic director, Ben Beckham, brings 16 years of improv, writing and directing experience to the troupe. He leads this flock of locally grown comedians into Tulsa's hottest nightspot for fun, Brookside.

Other local Improv veterans Maria Swindell and Jeff Turner join Beckham, plus musician and funny man Eric Stubbings, who will be making his second appearance with The Comedy Clinic in May.
