TULSA, OK - Cool your summer time blues with The Comedy Clinic, Tulsa's Comedy Troupe, as they present your favorite skits on June 19th, 2004, in their "Best of" season finale, at Tulsa's finest Martini Lounge and Champagne Bar, The Suede, 3340 S. Peoria Ave. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m.

These Medics of Madness will showcase decades of theater and comedy experience in their live show, which has been described as Saturday Night Live meets Whose Line is it Anyway. Fans will enjoy their favorite sketches from the 2003-04 season, written by the Comedy Clinic players themselves. These original sketches will be followed by hysterical improv games, which include audience participation. The Comedy Clinic gives fans a local flavor in their sketch comedy, the likes of which won't be seen on television or anywhere else in Tulsa!

Playing in their second consecutive season at The Suede, the Physicians of Fun are no strangers to the comedy and entertainment scene in Green Country. The Comedy Clinic will star local improv veterans and Clinic co-founders Ben Beckham, Maria Swindell, Jeff Turner and Antoine Wilson.

Beckham, the Clinic director, has 17 years of improv, writing and directing experience in the Tulsa area. After co-founding two other improv troupes since 1990, he teamed with Swindell and Turner in early 2002 before establishing The Comedy Clinic with both of them in September 2002. He has collaborated with his cast mates a combined 24 years dating back to the late 1980s when he first started writing with Turner and later Wilson.
