Due to the reconstruction of its normal home on Brookside, The Comedy Clinic will be moving its Saturday, February 17th, 2006 show to Liquidz at 18th & Boston. Showtime is 7:30pm.

This show, “You Have To Be This Drunk...To Ride!” will be third of four stops in Tulsa this season for these locally grown comedians, whose work has been described as “Saturday Night Live” meets “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” The foursome also has three additional dates in Bartlesville throughout the next 12 months.

These Medics of Madness showcase decades of theater and comedy experience in each show and have changed their format for this season, from both scripted sketches and improv to strictly improv.

“Actually, we had so many people over the years tell us that we have to extend the improv portion of our show, that we've decided to go all improv this season” states Ben Beckham, Clinic Director and the most experienced comedy veteran in the group. But, he promises crowd favorite characters such as Pimpin Ken and Silky Slim, The Salad Sisters, Sportscaster Chick Thompson will not go away, nor will the parodies of local commercials and public figures.

“They'll [the recurring characters] be back. We just want to give our followers what they want.” When asked what that would be, Beckham quipped, “Eternal life!”

Jeff Turner, a Co-Founder of the group, is excited by the change in format, "Doing strictly improv really keeps you, as a performer, on your toes...and it has been years since I have danced The Nutcracker".

Another familiar face in season five is charter cast member and Bartlesville native Maria Swindell, who bring her brings to the show "her razor sharp wit, fantastic since of timing, graceful dancing, and her angelic singing voice, and hot Latina sexiness", according to her MySpace page.

Many of you have asked about Antoine Wilson, I can assure you he is alive and well, living in Peru under the name George Kaplan.

We are happy to announce that Antoine Willson be making his triumphant return to the Comedy Clinic. Please help us welcome Antoine back to our staff, with our all new show on February 17th, 2007.
