The Blue Dome District will bust a gut one last time this spring as Tulsa’s Comedy Troupe, The Comedy Clinic, returns to the stage May 31st, 2008 at The Continental, 421 E 1st St., for their season six finale. Showtime is 8 pm, doors open at 7 pm.
Once again, local improv veterans Ben Beckham, Maria Swindell-Gus and Jeff Turner will showcase decades of comedy experience in their local brand of improv which has been described as Tulsa’s own version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
In their six years together, this threesome has performed nearly 100 shows together of shear hilarity and this night will be no different per charter member, co-founder, and all around "great guy" Ben Beckham.
“Every time you laugh, an angel gets his wings,” according to Beckham. “Heaven loves us.”
Turner and Swindell-Gus are even more optimistic about the positive effects of the Comedy Clnic’s sixth season.
“For every person that shows up and laughs, the mayor will fill a pothole,” Turner explained and Swindell-Gus confirmed.
“Angels, laughs and potholes. That’s what we’re about.”
And they are also about to be finished for season six, so do not miss it!
Advance tickets are $9 or $10 at the door. Advance tickets must be purchased by Friday, May 30th, 2008.
Tickets are available for purchase online, as well, with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
