Brookside will bust a gut once again as Tulsa's Comedy Troupe, The Comedy
Clinic, returns to the stage November 15th, 2008 at Jewell, 3340 S. Peoria, in
the second show of their 7th season. Showtime is 8pm, doors open at 7pm.
Local improv veterans Ben Beckham, Maria Swindell-Gus and Jeff Turner will
showcase decades of comedy experience in their local brand of improv which has
been described as Tulsa's own version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
In their six years together, this threesome has performed nearly 100 shows
together of shear hilarity and this night will be no different per charter
member, co founder, Ben Beckham.
"Every time you laugh, an angel gets his wings," according to Beckham. "Heaven
loves us."
Turner and Swindell-Gus are even more optimistic about the positive effects of
the Comedy Clinic's seventh season.
"For every person that shows up and laughs, the mayor will fill a pothole,"
Turner explained and Swindell-Gus confirmed.
"Angels, laughs and potholes. That's what we're about."
The mayor could not be reached for comment.
Advance tickets are $9 or $10 at the door. Advance tickets must be purchased by
Friday, November 14th, 2008.
Tickets are available for purchase online, as well, with Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. For individual or group ticket information, call
(918) 928-7161, or visit www.thecomedyclinic.com. The Comedy Clinic is available
