Tulsa’s Comedy Troupe, The Comedy Clinic, is back for a crazy 8th season! That’s
correct, Tulsa’s Medics of Madness, Brookside’s Physicians of Fun, the O-B-G-Y-N
of F-U-N-N-Y return to the Jewel stage on Saturday, August 22nd, 2009. Showtime
is 8pm.
The Comedy Clinic, Also known as local improv veterans Ben Beckham, Maria Gus
and Jeff Turner , suggests in season 8, they will continue to break out fan
favorite improv games as well as the newly introduced games this season, all of
which include audience participation. Their magical on stage chemistry and local
brand of improvisational comedy has dubbed them Tulsa’s own version of Whose
Line Is It Anyway?
These local comedy vets have spent all but one of their seasons on the Jewel
stage and returned one year ago for a happy homecoming in the heart of
Brookside.
“It’s like hanging out with the family during the holidays,” said Beckham of the
return to 33rd and Peoria.
Gus appreciates what Brookside has to offer all night long, “You can eat, watch
a show and then dance your booty off. What don’t you like about that?”
But it is Turner who thinks being in Brookside again is the most liberating.
“You know that feeling you get by walking around your house naked? That’s how it
makes me feel.”
And you too can feel it, August 22nd, 2009 at 8pm at Jewel, 33rd & Peoria.
Tickets are $10.00 at the door. For individual or group ticket
information, call (918) 928-7161, email info@thecomedyclinic.com or visit
www.thecomedyclinic.com. The Comedy Clinic is available for private bookings,
